Paddle Stack is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Paddle Stack mobile application (the "App").

Location Data

- What we collect: Your device's location when you are near a registered pickleball court

- Why we collect it: To automatically detect when you enter or exit a court's geofence area and update the real-time court occupancy count

- How we use it: Your location is used ONLY to determine if you are present at a court. We do NOT store, track, or share your location history or movements

Automatically Collected Information

- Court Selection: We store your last selected court locally on your device to provide a better user experience

- Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics through Firebase Analytics to improve the App

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect, store, or share:

- Your name or personal identity

- Your location history or travel patterns

- Your email address or contact information

- Any personally identifiable information (PII)

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

1. Provide real-time court occupancy tracking by detecting when you enter or exit a court

2. Display which courts are currently available

3. Improve the App's functionality and user experience

Data Sharing and Third Parties

Firebase (Google)

We use Google Firebase for:

- Firestore Database: Storing court information and real-time player counts

- Analytics: Collecting anonymous usage statistics

We Do NOT:

- Sell your data to third parties

- Share your location with other users

- Use your data for advertising purposes

- Track your location outside of court geofence areas

Data Storage and Security

- Location Data: NOT stored anywhere. Used only in real-time to update court occupancy

- Court Selection: Stored locally on your device only (not on our servers)

- Court Data: Stored in Firebase Firestore with security rules to prevent unauthorized access

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

- Disable Location Services: You can disable location access for Paddle Stack in your device settings at any time. However, this will prevent the App from functioning properly as location is required for automatic court occupancy tracking

- Delete Local Data: Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data from your device

Children's Privacy

Paddle Stack is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy

- Posting a notice in the App (for material changes)

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
